Who are we?
Welcome to Stellen Eaze, a family-owned guesthouse nestled in the heart of the beautiful Stellenbosch Winelands. Our family of four – Alwyn, Karin, Ruan, and Derick – are proud to call Stellenbosch home and have lived in this remarkable town all our lives.
As lifelong residents, we have a deep appreciation for the area’s rich history, stunning landscapes, world-renowned wine estates, and warm community spirit. Stellen Eaze was created to share the beauty and charm of Stellenbosch with visitors from around the world while providing a comfortable and relaxing home away from home.
We are passionate about hospitality and strive to make every guest feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Whether you are visiting for a wine-tasting adventure, a family getaway, a business trip, or simply to explore the Cape Winelands, we are committed to ensuring your stay is enjoyable and memorable.
We look forward to welcoming you to Stellen Eaze and sharing the place we have always been proud to call home.
How did we start?
StellenEaze Homestead was built from the ground up as a family venture. The building itself has been modernised as much as possible while maintaining its original charm – it was finally finished in early 2026. The entire family has put their hearts and souls into getting this project off the ground and are incredibly excited to watch it take off and flourish.
The property still has original farm cottages dotted around where long-term renters stay. The surrounding tenants love the vibe that the area radiates and are friendly and respectful of the space around them. The family is incredibly proud of the environment that they have been able to cultivate with these ventures and look forward to welcoming guests in to experience it.
We have often felt that Stellenbosch, while beautiful, can be busy and overwhelming for guests. We also know that it can be near impossible to find accommodation here, as the town is often packed for the many events that take place throughout the year. We have made it our mission, through StellenEaze Homestead, to try to cater to you by providing comfortable accommodation away from all of the hustle and bustle of ‘Stellies’. Our clear and quiet environment is the perfect place to rest your head after busy days in town, and is ideal for large groups and families!
